Following the Government's update to its electric vehicle grant scheme yesterday (18 March), we’re pleased to say the majority of electric vehicle (EV) quotations are available again. As Government confirms the list of vehicles which are eligible for the grant, our systems have been updated and rate books will follow, if applicable to you.
What do I now need to do to order a new EV?
To place an order for a new electric vehicle now, please get a new quote for it.
Any quotes made from today (19 March), have been adjusted to accommodate the changes to the Government grant scheme.
What has changed?
Any EV quotes made before Wednesday 18 March are now no longer valid. This is because the Government scheme changed and now provides grants of up to £2,500 for electric vehicles on cars priced under £35,000.
What does this mean if an electric vehicle order has been placed?
If an order was confirmed before 11:59pm (23:59) on 17 March, it is eligible for the Government grant prior to the update being made.
Any EV orders made after 18 March will include the updated government grant, if applicable.
