Meet the team

John joined GE Capital in 2002 which was acquired by Arval in 2015. He's held several key roles in procurement, commercial and marketing teams.

Recently, John headed up the launch of innovative mobility programmes across the UK. As Head of Consulting, John leads six specialist fleet and mobility consultants who guide and advise Arval’s clients on a range of issues.

John has provided thought leadership on the future of fleets and is the UK spokesperson for the Arval Mobility Observatory which is a major survey of fleets across the globe.

Recognised as one of BVRLA’s 2023 Industry Heroes, Ben has worked in Arval for a decade. His strong background in analytics, data handling, sales management and systems knowledge has proved invaluable to both customers and colleagues.

Joining the team during a period of rapid change in the industry, Ben is now an expert in Whole Life Cost (WLC) methodology and electrification.

Ben also developed Arval’s ‘Fleet Health Check,’ analysis and recently led the design and implementation of an LCV transition solution.

With nearly 40 years of experience in Commercial Vehicles, Eddie's worked for some of the largest global manufacturers and operators across the globe.

He's been elected to senior roles within two main industry bodies influencing the automotive and transport sectors.

Currently, Eddie is supporting all key areas in Commercial Vehicles for Arval's national and international clients. Eddie offers guidance on current and forthcoming legislation/compliance and industry standards.

Bringing extensive experience in finance, project management and commercial knowledge, Paul joined Arval in 1999.

Moving into the Consultancy team, Paul currently advises clients on best practice in fleet management, helping fleets transition seamlessly to EVs. He also assesses new technologies and understanding their potential use in the fleet sector.

With 25 years of experience within the fleet industry, Paul is considered an expert in alternative energies including EVs and hydrogen fuel cells.

With 40 years of experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry, Simon has built close manufacturer and supplier relationships in the UK and Europe within LCV leasing.

In his current role, Simon supports the full commercial team and wider business in all aspects of LCV. He works with the product team to enhance and optimise our LCV proposition and is the UK representative for Arval’s European LCV offering.

Providing industry knowledge and experience, Simon has established LCV fleet as a core part of Arval’s offering.
