About the role
As part of our HR Services team, you’ll be the first point of contact for HR queries from managers across the business. Providing support regarding new starters and leavers processes, as well as policy changes, you’ll also have the opportunity to be involved in and take ownership of a range of projects.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring ASKHR inbox, handling queries from employees across the business and responding in a timely manner
- Supporting managers with new starter and leaver processes and advising on policy changes
- Supporting employee relations activity and processes, including flexible working requests and probation
- Weekly payroll checking and governance
- Taking ownership of a range of projects
What we’re looking for
As an HR Advisor within our HR Services team, you will have a good understanding of general HR processes and a commitment to providing an excellent level of service to internal colleagues across the business.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of audiences in a clear and professional manner
- Ability to work on own initiative, taking ownership of work and driving assigned projects
- An ambitious approach to work – a desire to continuously develop your professional knowledge and experience to provide a high level of service
The package
We offer a basic starting salary of up to £30,000, plus a bonus of up to £1,100. We also offer 25 days holiday as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
