Driver tips
1 Dec 2023
With fuel prices fluctuating, it pays to use the cheapest sites to help reduce costs.
Fuel can account for as much as 25% of vehicle running costs, so smarter purchasing can help boost your fleet and save drivers’ money where they pay for private fuel.
THINK BEFORE YOU FILL UP!
- Check your local area to see which fuel station is offering the best priced fuel – several fuel price locators can be found on the web.
- If you have to fill up at a more expensive fuel site, purchase a small amount and fill up later at a less expensive site.
- Only buy regular fuel. Super Unleaded is more expensive than regular unleaded – using such fuel has little impact on performance, other than for a small range of prestige vehicles, but can deliver additional unnecessary cost.
