About the role

An exciting maternity cover opportunity has become available in a well-established team within our SME division. As a Dealer Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our dealer partners as they arrange new leases for our combined customer base and be on hand to answer any queries they or their customers might have.

This role will involve an element of selling as well as Account Management but is ultimately about relationship building. Your primary role will be to help Arval and our dealer partners achieve maximum sales as smoothly as possible. Our dealer partners will have targets and will look to you to make sure these are hit by offering timely support and advice. In essence, you will be their day-to-day go to facilitator. This role will be challenging but rewarding for the right person.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be able to answer queries and give the best customer service to dealer partners
  • Build key relationships
  • Support dealer partners achieve maximum sales

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an outstanding Account Manager. The best of the best, as you will be looking after some of our premier Partners. Relationships are what makes you tick and you will stop at nothing to ensure our Partners are pampered to blushing point. You will have an excellent telephone manner, thrive working in a fast-paced environment and be used to taking ownership of all that is thrown at you whilst demonstrating complete professionalism and tact. A ‘thick skin’ and an agile mind are pre-requisites along with the ability to multi task. We need people who can happily negotiate and come to work with a finely tuned sense of humour.

You’ll also be able to demonstrate:

  • Outstanding ownership & problem solving ability

The package

This is 22.5 hours a week ideally every day 9:30am - 2:30pm but for the right candidate we can be flexible,  this will be for a 9 month maternity cover.

We offer a basic starting salary of up to £16,750, plus a bonus of up to £680.  We also offer 25 days holiday (for full time hours, this will be pro rata) as standard, plus bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, and the option to purchase an additional 5 days
